Cowboys Lose, Romo Plays Great

Yeah, when was the last time we could say that? After a mediocre first half and a questionable lateral to give the Redskins a touchdown in the final seconds of the first half, Romo rallies to redeem himself.

He was very accurate throughout the game and in the final 2 minutes marched the Cowboys down the field and passed for a touchdown to Roy Williams with the clock running out to tie the game and give the Cowboys the point after chance to win. Oh, wait Alex Barron decided that what the Redskins needs was a firm hug and with that the touchdown was taken off the board and the game ended 13-7 Redskins win.

There is a silver lining to this, Dez Bryant showed that when the game was on the line, he could make catches. Miles Austin earned his new fat paycheck with spectacular catch after spectacular catch. Tony Romo looked a little shaky at times with a few wild overthrows, but was mostly very accurate and racked up over 275 yards through the air and 1
TD. The running game was adequate and with the exception of Barber, the backs looked strong and on the attack against a stingy Redskins D.
The bad news is that the line, with a couple of starters out due to injury gave up too many penalties and directly cost the Cowboys the game at the end. Hit those sleds boys, try again next week.
